Initial Naturopathic Consultations:  75 - 90min
Settling into your consultation with a cup of freshly brewed herbal Tea you feel relaxed. The room is warm and cosy and you instantly know you are in a safe space you can trust.

During your first consultation you will be able to discuss with your Therapist any concerns you have about your health and well being.

Your Naturopath will ask you about your medical history, including relevant family history as well as your current diet and lifestyle. You are welcome to bring copies of any medical reports or recent pathology tests you would like to discuss.
During your consultation, an individual health care plan will be formulated. This may include dietary and lifestyle changes, herbal medicines and/or nutritional supplements.

Iridology, Herbal Medicine, Nutrition, Massage, Acupressure and Bowen Therapy are all tools your Naturopath may utilise.

With this thorough consultation we ensure you are given the time needed to be understood and know how to implement any advice given.

Follow up consultations:  30 - 45min
Follow up consultations are usually at fortnightly, monthly or six-week intervals depending on the conditions being treated.

We will review and discuss any previous health concerns and address any ongoing health assessments.

Your health care plan will be checked to see if it is working for you and how we can adjust it to assist you to reach your goals.

Iridology may be used during either an initial or follow up consultation.

The eyes are considered the windows to the soul, revealing a wealth of information to the Naturopath about your physical & emotional health & vitality.

Through various marks, signs and colors in the iris, inherited predispositions & strengths may be identified with inflammation and signs of over or under activity.

People often ask me..

What is a Naturopath?

A Naturopath is an all rounder Health & Wellness Practitioner. We offer healing support as nature intended, utilising natural remedies.

Its a holistic approach to health with the assistance of many tools such as Pure Plant Extracts, Dietary advice, Iridology and Homeopathy. Hands on Therapies such as Bowen, Acupressure or Remedial Massage assist many conditions and are invaluable to my clients in their healing journey.

A full case history is taken to asses your health concerns and Iridology is used to asses your genetic predisposition for a preventative approach.

A Naturopath practices Evidence Based and Traditional Medicine.  This means our knowledge and treatment plans are supported by current and historical research .

What makes a Naturopath different?

A Naturopath has a patient centred approach, treating you as a whole person, checking for signs and symptoms through posture, skin tone, your eyes, its all about the big picture while showing empathy and understanding for you as an individual.

A consultation time spent looking at you as a whole person, emotionally & physically.

This holistic approach is important to see the full picture of your health, addressing your present symptoms and with a preventative concern, caring for your future longevity.

Is a Naturopath like a Doctor?

A Naturopath is very different to a doctor, although thoroughly trained in Medical Science, Biochemistry, Pathophysiology etc & has full training in Nutritional Medicine, is not a substitute for your Doctor, but instead works with your Doctor in an integrated way to ensure you have the best outcome for your health.

I was only visiting Blueys Beach for the week &  visited The Centre expecting a nice Relaxing Massage but received so much more!

My Therapist Dea was caring & patient as I unloaded my health & stress concerns. I felt like she listened & really heard & understood me.

I would recommend Blueys Natural Health Centre to anyone who is looking for a Holistic & caring approach to Stress.

I love the way Dea blends her Therapies & wealth of knowledge in a Consultation. We began with questions about my health, discussed my family history then the Iridology was really cool. It was pretty emotional for me discussing a few things, so Dea finished the Session with some Acupressure Therapy which left me feeling really nurtured.

Thanks Dea.

I was feeling like sh** not sleeping properly for years. Then 3 nights on my Herbal Sleep Mix & I was sleeping like a baby.

Not the nicest taste but it works.

Thanks guys.

Anxiety is the worst. It took me a long time to get the courage to talk to someone about it, but it was the best thing to find out that there is lots of help available. With a combination of Nutrition, Herbs & Acupressure I'm feeling like I'm not so stressed & have even joined a Relaxation/Meditation Class.

I took my husband to see Dea for a few health concerns. At first he wasn't really happy about going along, but now after drinking her Herb Mix or pond water as he calls it, he can't praise her enough. He said he hasn't felt this good in a long time. Thanks. x
